The Cairns Rock n Beat n Boogie dance club was established in 2004 to teach and foster Rock and Roll dance, largely to children in Cairns. The clubs' three coaches, Warren, Rhonda and Jenny began teaching just a few dancers, but more and more people became members eager to learn a different style of dance.
The club now has over 100 students with ages ranging between 4 and 18. The CRBB teaches students the basics of Swing and Rock n Roll dancing as well as a host of social and line dances. As a club we travel to Brisbane once a year to compete in the 'World Freestyle Rock n Roll Championships' as well as doing fund-raisers for charities and other performances throughout the year.
CRBB is a fun and social learning environment where students can make new friends and learn a skill they can use for the rest of their lives. CRBB is a non-profit organisation and is available for, fund-raisers, charities, performances and teaching of large groups ie. schools.
